Assessment Services

The Assessment team offers testing services for enrolled students as well as those applying for admission. It ensures that the required three-year evaluations take place and testing is conducted in areas of need or upon request. The team consists of school psychologists, diagnostic teachers, an audiologist, a speech and language pathologist, and a behavioral specialist. The team is able to communicate directly with students. They consult with parents, teachers, principals, guidance counselors, and cottage staff regarding each student.

Northern California Assessment Center for Deaf and Hard of Hearing

The Northern California Assessment Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing is housed at CSD. The center offers free, comprehensive assessments for deaf and hard-of-hearing students who are referred for further testing by their school districts.
