Support for School Districts & Families

The Outreach Division is a Northern California treasury of educational resources for deaf children and the community.

• Campus Tours: Tailored campus tours can be arranged for you to learn more about how the programs offered at CSD could benefit your deaf and hard-of-hearing students.
• Technical Assistance: Site visits can be arranged for district teachers to observe classrooms or to meet with teacher specialists and other professionals to learn about up-to-date, research-based information and practical skills applications.

Presenters can attend your in-service session.

• Website: Visit our website, http://www.csdeagles.com, as often as you like. Use it as a resource for bilingual education and parent support.
• For Families with Deaf Children from Your District: Families can benefit from American Sign Language classes through videophone and local classes. They can attend Family Learning events such as the Latino Family Weekend, African-American Family Day, and the Parent-to-Parent Network available to parents with newly identified deaf babies.
