Using Campus Facilities

The California School for the Deaf lends out its facilities to non-profit groups on weekends and during holidays. These facilities include the theatre, gym, activity centers and outdoor fields. CSD students always have priority, then the Deaf community and other outside groups.
Groups interested in using CSD facilities
should do the following:
- Inform the Facilities Coordinator about your desire to use the school's facilities. Explain what the event is for and how many people will be using the facility. See if the facility is available on the date and time you need it.
- Get an application from the facilities coordinator or the outreach secretary.
- Submit the completed application and proof of insurance to the facilities coordinator. CSD requires community organizations using our facilities to provide insurance (with the school's name and address on the form).
- Wait to see if the application is approved. It usually takes a few days to be approved.
