National Technical Institute for the Deaf is offering two FREE summer programs in California
for Deaf high school students to prepare for life after graduation
(June 16-21, 2024; at California State University, Fresno) 
  • STEM Week - provides an opportunity for qualified Deaf college-bound students from California to gain experience in STEM and explore their personal interest in the field.

  • Create Your Future - provides learning opportunities for qualified Deaf students from California preparing for life post-graduation.Website: https://www.rit.edu/ntid/pre-ets


Both programs are available to all eligible deaf and hard-of-hearing high school students with approval and paid for by their state Department of Vocational Rehabilitation. Students will need to work with their Department of Vocational Rehabilitation agency.

The exciting part of this program is that it’s FREE, the only cost is transportation to get to the site.
