Children 18 to 36 months experience a language-rich and cognitively stimulating environment with peers as well as Deaf role models. Play is the children's primary mode of learning. Hands-on sensory experiences, small group learning opportunities, story time, outdoor play, art and social interactions provide a wealth of language exposure. Following the California Department of Education’s Early Learning Foundations we are able to ensure that the children are receiving developmentally and age-appropriate activities and experiences. The class runs Tuesday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Our Friday Playgroups, 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., provide a time to network with other families, learn from workshops, engage in storysigning time and have fun!
