Young children are uniquely connected and dependent on their families for nurturance and support.  Children need to feel accepted and loved for who they are at home and at school.  Building strong, positive relationships with families is a critical component of the success of the children we serve.  Ensuring that every family feels welcome creates a foundation for mutually respectful relationships.  Working with families and understanding their identities, beliefs and cultural ways of being helps us to nurture and support the relationships and interactions with all our children.
