Career Exploration

The students in this course, Career Exploration, will examine the relationship of business to our society and economy. Participating members of this class will be able to explore and learn various basic business practices that will increase their knowledge in their career and personal development. The students will analyze and discover how their values, interests, abilities and personalities affect their career choices. They will utilize problem-solving skills by the variables affecting supply and demand in the business industry. They will be able to build a strong foundation for self-confidence in their leadership and communication skills related to teamwork, human relations and community responsibility. As they develop employable skills and relate hands-on practical training experience through participation in the community and extra-curricular activities, they will become self-assured, responsible, and invaluable members of the community.
