Student Teaching

How to Apply

> To apply for a student teaching internship at CSD, the prospective student teacher will need to send the following information:

  • A letter of interest in student teaching at our school
  • Resume
  • Undergraduate and graduate transcripts (copies)
  • Two letters of recommendation

> Student teachers will need to go through interviews, either in person or through the videophone. During the interview, they will be evaluated for their knowledge about teaching Deaf students as well as for their ASL proficiency. We accept student teachers who possess a certain level of ASL proficiency so the continued educational progress for our students is assured with our student teachers.
