but it was a little overwhelming at first having to go this route we got to now learn a new language to learn his language and it was overwhelming but we kind of took it one step at a time we kind of figured you know he's a baby he's got to learn it too so we can all just learn it together and as long as we can just kind of stay step or two ahead of him then we should be fine been so kind of healthy the pressure off and really wasn't even that bad and send it to some college classes and some stuff you know it was who are the first but it got easier and easier as time went on and now I don't even think about it just what we do every day do you know where educated group of people living here in this Bay Area and you know we my concern really was he going to college like is he going to visit is his learning ability because he's deaf and because we're choosing route of SLE is it really going to hinder what he can do in life you know I personally met women just like me with children who worked and who were educated and went to college and you know how wonderful jobs and work you know the eighties and what is Shane or the medical community do not even give us an opportunity to really know these people until tell that to be part of our choice and so when I met these moms I thought  Lake what a great thing and no one was focusing on what the child couldn't do everybody was focusing on what they can do can I spend my forever statement is I don't want to focus on what he can't do because we know we can't too it's the reality can't hear and even if he had to cook for him please tell me that so I want to focus on and celebrate the things that he can't do
