Join us for “My Deaf Education Journey as a Deaf Afghan Woman” with Wagma Ahmadzai, President of the Bay Area Asian Deaf Association (BAADA), Adjunct Professor of ASL at Ohlone College, and CSD Fremont alumna.

Wagma will share her inspiring story of growing up Deaf in Afghanistan, immigrating to the U.S. at age three, navigating education within a large Deaf and hearing family, and becoming a leader in the Deaf community.
