Reconnect, Renew & Reflect: Our school is committed to supporting new teachers’s on-going growth through our comprehensive New Teachers Mentoring program. Our program theme is to close the achievement gap through the power of Culturally Responsive Instruction in a Bilingual Environment.
Our new teachers attend to our monthly presentations on various topics such as: Integrating Assessment, Diversity and Bilingual Language Arts, Classroom Technology, Assessment & Data Driven Instruction, Equity & Diversity, and Individualized Education Plan. In addition to the monthly presentations, the mentor meets with new teacher for regularly scheduled weekly meeting through out the year.
We believe in investing in our new teachers and in return, they will further invest in our Deaf children.
