Spelling Bee Champs
Congratulations to our three elementary spellers who made it all the way to the national competition!
Gallaudet University Youth Programs hosted their 2024 National Deaf Spelling Bee competition for elementary students. Twenty-three students from eight Deaf schools from across the nation participated, including three students from California School for the Deaf, Fremont (Jaclyn, Oceana, and Samuel).
Eight finalists went through nine straight rounds without making a single mistake. The result? Eight winners, including two winners from California School for the Deaf, Fremont: Oceana and Jaclyn.
