7th & 8th Grade Rotation

CTE also offers an opportunity for younger students in their 7th and 8th grade year to sample each CTE program offered in high school. This is done in a 8 week rotation throughout the year. Students learn the fundamentals of each program while increasing their career awareness. During these 8 weeks, they are taught safety rules and procedures for each program. This allows them to make educated career choices for their CTE program when they enter high school. At the end of each 4 week rotation, teachers fill out a rotation report based on the students overall performance in each area.
